Before director David Fincher made Fight
Club, he made Seven.
The story of two New York City detectives searching for a methodical (to
quote the movie)
serial killer, who kills accordingly to the 7 deadly sins.

Morgan freeman
plays the older, wiser, retirement-bound detective, and Brad
Pitt plays the young, fresh, go-getter. Written by Andrew Kevin Walker,
then a clerk at a music store, Seven offers a unique view of the mind of a serial
killer. With an all-star cast, excellent directing and an incredible ending,
you can't go wrong!

Perfect. Just Perfect. They explain on the DVD how they got it
the picture to look so
great.
It's just perfect.
Again.
Perfect. Especially when it's raining in the film.

Whoa. There are a lot of extras here.
Four Commentaries with David Fincher, Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman
and collaborators on the film
A good mix of humor and information on all of these. Brad
Pitt and David Fincher were recorded together, but it's obvious Morgan Freeman
was recorded at a separate time. Also, while very informative, Morgan
Freeman tends to drift off into other topics.

Deleted Scenes and Extended takes
Pretty sweet. There are some cool scenes. I
liked the extended scene with Brad Pitt talking about how he shot a criminal.
Alternate Ending with animated storyboards
Really cool. The filmed alternate ending was weak, but the
the storyboarded ending was totally different and it kicked ass.
Digital
Mastering For The Home Theatre
Four informational videos with multi-angle and multi-audio
features to explain the process of digitally re-mastering the movie
exclusively for this DVD release. It's most excellent. Awesome!

Exploration of the Opening sequence, multi video angles and
audio
Pretty cool. You can see how it evolved.
EPK and Trailer
This was a great movie...but the trailer sucks. It
makes it seem like just another movie when it is so much more.
The trailer has a
really corny narration as well.
Video Galleries, Notebooks, Crime Photos
...this is creepy, man! They have a lot of cool
pictures from the movie.
Standard Filmography
Nothing Special.
FINAL
THOUGHT
Overall, not a better DVD than Fight
Club, but this is still one
of the best out there. Go buy it right now.
