MOVIE GRADING SCALE

An explanation of the 1-10 grading scale.

10 - Perfect; everything about it works, the best (it is rarely given).

9 - Almost Perfect; close to perfection, but not exactly there.

8 - Great; highly enjoyable, solid filmmaking.

7 - Good; entertaining, good merits, but a couple of flaws persist.

6 - Not Bad; somewhat entertaining, but numerous flaws drag it down.

5 - Just Alright; barely entertaining, and disappointing at same time.

4 - Poor; Disappointing, poor filmmaking, slow.

3 - Pretty Bad; Extremely disappointing, very boring.

2 - Terrible; No merits at all, laughably bad, amateurish.

1 - Horrible; You'd rather be getting a root canal!
