Since the dawn of time the devil has been trying to take out soul. He has been coming up with new ways to take our soul. He may have a new weapon to do it the movie is called Bedazzled.

For Elliot Richards (Brendan Fraser) a well meaning but socially inept Tech-Support advisor who is good as his job but has no life. All his co-workers make fun of him and he cannot talk to women without looking like a fool. One of his co-workers Alison Gardner (Frances O’Connor) is the girl of his dreams. But he is afraid to go up and talk to her, he sees her at a local bar but she brushes him off. He wishes to god that he could have her one-day.

His dreams are answer by a mysterious woman who plays the perfect game of pool. This woman ask Elliot what if he could get all his wish comes true and the girl of his dreams would be his. But Elliot doesn’t buy it and ask her who is she. The women says if you promise not to tell anyone she The Devil (played by the very hot and beautiful Elizabeth Hurley) she tells Elliot she can give him 7 wishes. That he can have anything he wants.

But there is a catch to this entire giving ness he has to give his soul to her (I know I would give my soul to her any day, what guy wouldn’t). But what she doesn’t know is that this soul is not going to be easy to take. And he comes up with some funny wishes so let the games begin.

Bedazzled is directed by Harold Ramis (Analyze This), which is a new version of the 1967 comedy. This was one funny movie and the way the director shows the wishes is great. Brendan Fraser did a great job of playing the loser of the story and he had the part down to a tee.  Elizabeth Hurley of course look real good as she usually does but she also acted really good as the Devil she had the part down pack and I could not think of anyone else to play the part better.

Good points:

1. The story was very good and realistic meaning we all wish we could change something in our life.

2. This was a remake and I think they did a great job of updating the older version. Usually when they update, they do a bad job, but not with Bedazzled.

3. The cast was very good they all play their parts good.

4. The wishes were very funny. Here are a couple of the wishes. NBA player, very sensitive man, and very rich and powerful man.

5. They had some inside jokes that were really funny.

6. The movie had some biblical meaning.

The only thing I wish that was different was I wish Elliot had more than seven wishes. That's the only weak thing. Overall, Bedazzled was a very funny movie. You will laugh a lot and be happy that you watched the film.
