"WARNING: CROCODILE DUNDEE IS FUN BUT CAUSED MY IQ TO DROP SIGNIFICANTLY"

Do you like tacky adventure? Do you enjoy corny jokes? How about complete stupidity? If you have answered "YES" to one or more of the following "Crocodile Dundee in LA" is for you! The film starts out slow by showing the audience about 5 minutes of wildlife footage of the outback.

It then eases into the story of how Dundee has settled down with his girlfriend and son. Some hijinx ensue and it is then revealed, quite quickly I might add, that they family will be moving to Los Angeles. For the next hour the audience is forced to watch Mr. Dundee and his son, Mick Jr., move throughout Los Angeles and the Paramount Studio Lot with complete culture shock, while Dundee and his girlfriend try to stop an evil scheme by a fledgling studio! With all of this going on, you would think that the plot would be thick and intertwining. While in reality, the plot is as thin as Calista Flockhart and as boring as the "Seinfeld" series finale (and that was really boring!).

The only things that save this movie are the few very funny moments and the few very funny surprises. Paul Hogan has shown us that he can play a great Aussie redneck, but can he play anything else? Also, the entire movie (which was produced by Hogan) seems to make Dundee seem as a sex symbol, how old is he anyway? Mike Tyson makes a cameo appearance, scary. As a whole, kids should love the slapstick humor, and parents should bring a pillow. Let's
just hope that there isn't a sequel "Crocodile Dundee 4: In the Retirement Community."
