We've seen some funny movies based on time travel in our time. There is Bill and Ted's Adventure and now Just Visiting can be added to that list. Just Visiting is the American version of the 1993 French comedy Les Visiteurs that includes the director and some of the original cast.

French noblemen count Thibault of Malfete (Jean Reno) rules his land and is about to be married. But because of a freak accident he and his servant Andre (Christian Clavier) visit a wizard for help. The wizard messes up the spell. It transports the two through time to modern day Chicago. Confused and lost, they meet Thibault’s descendant Julia Malfete (Christina Applegate) and her scheming fiancé Hunter (Matthew Ross). Thibault and Andre must find their way back to their own time before it’s too late.

Just Visiting was very funny. Here are some good and bad points about the film.

The Goods:

1. I haven't seen the original film, but this version was very funny. I have to rent the original one too see if it's actually as funny as this updated version.

2. The cast was good. They all were funny and they all work well together.

3. I was surprised at the amount of beautiful girls in it.

4. The story did not drag at all.

5. A lot of funny jokes and not the stupid jokes that typical comedies tend to have.

5. I liked the ending of the movie.

I think everyone can enjoy this film.

The Bad:

1. I wish the movie would've been a little bit longer, because 88 minutes was too short.

2. It could've used more jokes.

Overall, Just Visiting was very funny and solid. Everyone should check it out. You'll like it just like I did.
