"It's all about the great action scenes"

In the world of cop movies you have all kinds of stories. This is one of them. Kiss of the Dragon centers on Liu Jiuan (Jet Li), one of China’s top government agents who is know for his bravery and honor.

Having just arrived to Paris, his assignment is to carry out a sensitive secret mission. He;s to assist an unorthodox police officer named Richard (Tcheky Karyo) with his mall army behind him. They cover the target but the mission goes horribly wrong. Liu finds out that the man he was supposed to help has betrayed and set him up to take the fall.

Liu is not going to let this go and let Richard walk all over him. Liu becomes trapped in a vast and deadly conspiracy in which he's accused of murder. As his only witness is an American women named Jessica (Bridget Fonda), who Richard has forced into prostitution. The two set off to clear Liu's name and go up against a cunning and ruthless adversary.

Kiss of the Dragon was a very good action movie. Jet Li shows us why he’s called one of the greatest action stars of our time. Let me tell about some of the good and bad points about this movie.

Good:

1. The acting was barely average. Jet Li did OK with the acting. He's great in all the action scenes, though. Bridget Fonda did OK as well.

3. The action was outstanding as Jet Li kicked some major butt, as usual. Moreover, some of the villains did some outstanding work. Action makes up for the most part here.

4. The locations were very nice.

5. The music was very good; some R& B and rap music.

Bad:

1. The idea of the film was okay and we've seen this type of story many times before.

2. The only bad thing I is the acting. Like I said before, you go to see these types of movies for the action scenes and not the acting.

Overall, even though the acting was OK, Kiss of the Dragon is still good and the action scenes will make you go "ouch." Go see it. It's worth the price of admission.

The film is rated R because of a lot of fight scenes and lot of blood.
