The rules of a trilogy: Chapter one sets the rules. Chapter two bends the rules. But in the finale... forget the rules. This is what is said in a video segment by Scream 2 victim Randy (Jamie Kennedy). And here we are... the third and probably final chapter of the very popular Scream series. All good things have to end sometime.

The movie starts off with Cotton Weary (Liev Schreiber), the first suspected killer of Sidney's mother, murdered along with his girlfriend by someone in a ghost mask.

And now as the cast/crew of Stab 3: Return to Woodsboro, the movie based on the events of the first two, start to get smaller and smaller, its up to Dewey (David Arquette), who is now a technical advisor for Stab 3, Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) who is now the host on a show called "Total Entertainment", and (of course) Sidney who now helps other people like her deal with their problems to find out who the killer is.

Neve Campbell is always good as the harassed Sidney (even if she isn't in almost any of the first half), David Arquette and Courteney Cox also pull off good performances. All the rest are just supporting characters but I will say that I found Jenny McCarthy very annoying but she dies really early in the film.

If you want to play the guessing game, don't bother. Even after the red herrings, it is still obvious to who the killer is. *POSSIBLE SPOILER AHEAD* And it sure doesn't help that in one scene, everyone that hasn't died yet are in a house except for one person. Could this be the killer? Well duh! *END OF POSSIBLE SPOILER*

Overall though, unlike I Know What You Did Last Summer, this movie is a fun ride and that's why it gets a positive rating. Every Scream fan that hasn't seen this yet should see it because they would like it and we get a lot more background info on Sidney and her mother. And anyone looking for a fun ride should see it as well.
